A pair of matching layout drawings from the Warner Bros. Studios production "Batman: The Animated Series" (1992-2001). Featuring loose illustrations of Batman and Robin standing with the city's skyline in the background, the graphite drawings were created during the animation process. The imagery was used to create the second season of season one, titled "Christmas with the Joker," which aired on November 13, 1992. The episode was the introduction of the Joker in the animated series. Measuring 10.5x12.5" each, with the character image measuring 8"x8.5", the drawings are in very good condition with minor discoloration, graphite smudges, edge and corner wear, particularly the top left corner, and general handling wear.
