This is an original production background from the Walt Disney Studios production of The Grain That Built a Hemisphere (1943). This hand-painted background features what appears to be the top of an Aztec wall, and was created at the studio and used during the production of the educational short. Each scene in an animated film will have only one background, making them more rare and hard to find. The overall measurements of the piece are 9.25" x 13.5" and the image itself measures 8" x 11". The background is in great condition.
